Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

A gift from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) can help make a lifesaving difference for special needs cats (including FIV+, FeLV+, Seniors and Abused Cats). SNAP Cats believes that, if given time, ALL cats can find the home that they deserve. Your DAF gift enables us to be there when special needs cats need us the most.

It’s never been easier to make an instant impact with your DAF – you can now support SNAP Cats using DAFpay and DAF Direct available to support SNAP Cats.

Please notify us of your DAF gift by emailing info@snapcats.org or calling (707) 836-6000 and include the name of your DAF institution and gift amount. We do not always receive information that identifies you as a donor, and this way, we can ensure the gift is linked to your account and thank you for your commitment to special needs cats.

About DAFs

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a simple way to manage your charitable giving and help save lives by recommending gifts to SNAP Cats. Commonly used DAF providers include Fidelity Charitable, GS DAF, DAFgiving360, Vanguard Charitable, National Philanthropic Trust and local community foundations.

When you put money into your DAF, you receive an immediate tax deduction, and you can direct philanthropic gifts toward charities now or in the future when you’re ready.

Benefits of DAFs

Make an Impact for Special Needs Who Need You Most
With DAFs, you’re setting aside charitable dollars that can be used to help special needs cats today. Your support enables us to rescue special needs cats from euthanasia and cruelty and address their urgent needs.

Set Up Recurring Gifts from Your DAF
You can set up monthly or annual recurring grants to ensure SNAP Cats can continue our lifesaving work. Contact your DAF administrator or select either of these options: DAFpay or DAF Direct.

Continue Your Animal Welfare Legacy
You can choose to have any remaining DAF funds distributed to SNAP Cats after your lifetime by naming SNAP Cats as a beneficiary of all or a portion of remaining funds.

SNAP Cats does not give individual tax advice, so please always consult your professional tax advisor on how a Donor Advised Fund might impact you specifically.
