SNAP Cats rescued Jixer from Vacaville, CA. In addition to being a very handsome man, Jixer is a lovebug! He loves attention, pets and loves his wet food! Before Jixer came to us he was reportedly 30 lbs! We’re guessing that’s why he’s diabetic. Since being here. Jixer has dropped down to a stealthy 12.5 lbs and we’ve been able to cut his insulin injection by 50%. We’ll be running another glucose curve (test) in December and we’re hoping Jixer will be able to live insulin-injection free from then on.
