SNAP Cats rescued Jewel from Fresno, CA. Jewel came to us blind, with both eyes badly infected, so we enucleated them right away to prohibit any infections and/or complications. She recovered from surgery quickly and since then is a become a warm, loving cat that will follow you around wanted attention, pets and to be picked up (in that order). Once Jewel “understands” her environment she gets around just fine. But being blind Jewel will need to be in a household that doesn’t change much.
