SNAP Cats rescued Sunday from Santa Rosa, CA. Sunday was brought to a local Santa Rosa vet with a badly injured rear leg. When the family was told Sunday would need an amputation, the family said they couldn’t afford it and asked that Sunday be euthanized. Being that Sunday was such a sweet (and young-ish) cat, the vet contacted us to see if we’d pay for the surgery (performed at Sonoma Humane at a great discount!) and then take Sunday. Of course we said yes. Sunday is a bit reserved at first, but once she gets to know you, she’ll follow you around like a shadow looking for attention and pets. Sunday gets around fine on her three legs and gets along great with all of our kitties here. Don’t know how she’d be with dogs.
