Cats for Adoption

ADOPTION PROCESS

If you’re considering adopting from SNAP Cats, you must fill out an Adoption Application first. You have the following options: fill out our Online Adoption Application (must be done on a computer as it doesn’t work well on a phone), or download our Adoption Application as a PDF or MS Word Doc, fill it out completely and eMail it to us. Please make sure to list everything we ask for, including email addresses for your references. Incomplete applications will not be processed. Thank you. (Note: If you download the PDF and save it to your computer, then open it on your computer, you can type your info/answers into the fields in the PDF.)

Once your adoption application is approved, we’ll require pictures and/or videos of both the inside and outside of your residence.

Once that’s approved, you will need to come to SNAP Cats to meet your kitty(s). We do not ship or use third party transports for our cats. If you live more than 4 hours away (by car) you must fly in to get your kitty(s). We don’t want our kitties to be in a carrier for more than 5 hours.

Adoption Fee: A donation in an amount that you feel is appropriate for the cat(s) that you adopt.

Please Note:
* Kittens MUST have another kitten about their age in the household to learn social skills with and be a channel for all of their energy
* We do not adopt to people/families planning on getting pregnant within a year
* We do not adopt to students
* You must be at least 21 years-old to adopt from us

Thank you for understanding this process.

All SNAP Cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped.
